Saint Laurent Summer 2021
Let freedom ring! In a spectacular “virtual and physical experience,” creative director Anthony Vaccarello presented Saint Laurent’s menswear collection for the summer of 2021. Some clad in the 1960’s style rocker cigarette suits, while other looks built on basic black or white layers added subtly colorful Hawaiian prints, abstract animal prints, patchwork embroidery, feathers, and rhinestones to the ensembles. Vaccarello continues to take Saint Laurent to higher pinnacles of boldness with each collection and collection presentation.
For the video presentation of the menswear summer 2021 collection for Saint Laurent, models take to flight, jumping from the rooftops and landmarks of Paris, New York, and China. Vaccarello’s video entitled “No Matter How Long The Night Is,” shot by Nathalie Canguihem with music by Sebastian is a masterpiece and a striking declaration of creativity. In addition to the video, the collection’s ‘experience’ included virtual and in-real-life presentations, an online augmented-reality experience, 3D imagery, street posters, hidden stickers, photo walls, flags, and a music playlist.
