This fall, L’Horizon Resort and Spa shines as the 2024 beacon of distinction, exuding old Hollywood glamour and timeless style that nearly outshines its star-studded history. A long weekend spent relaxing on this sprawling 3-acre compound was everything. The property, cocooned by privacy hedges and framed by nearby mountains, offers a serene escape. A discreet entrance, cleverly hidden within the towering front hedge, led us into an exclusive enclave where the elegance of renowned Palm Springs architecture seamlessly blends with contemporary warmth.

Originally crafted in 1952 by the revered architect William F. Cody, his masterpiece at L’Horizon is hailed as one of the West Coast’s finest Mid-Century architectural gems. Commissioned by the illustrious television producer, oil magnate, and hotelier Jack Wrather, this bungalow-style retreat was envisioned as a sanctuary for Wrather, his wife, and their esteemed Hollywood circle. Its glory days saw luminaries like Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe, presidents, and international figures gracing its guest list. If only those palm trees could share their tales.

Today, an air of exclusivity continues to reign.
