Chevy Blazer EV

Dynamic & Athletic Styling

Thanks to its distinctive design, advanced technology, and class-leading style, the all-electric Blazer EV has been making waves since it hit dealerships. While many drivers are still hesitant to go fully electric, with some viewing EVs as a secondary car option, the Blazer EV is changing that perception. It’s increasingly becoming the top choice for a first car.

Exploring what’s available in the affordable EV segment is important right now. When a reader asked for a recommendation for a great first car as he prepared to send his son off to college, the all-electric Blazer EV stood out. Its innovative, dynamic, and athletic styling is infused with Chevrolet’s performance DNA, creating a design that feels truly unique in its segment.

“The Blazer EV’s design evokes the same emotional response as Chevy’s performance cars,” said Phil Zak, Executive Director of Chevrolet Design. “It offers true SUV functionality, but inside and out, it has the kind of passionate proportions that make you want to get behind the wheel and explore what’s beyond the horizon. It’s a vehicle that looks great from every angle and invites you to drive.”

Chevy has nailed the Blazer EV’s muscular, athletic profile, with converging body lines and prominent front-fender extractor vents that pay homage to Chevy’s motorsports legacy. The front lighting is also highly functional, conveying the vehicle’s charge status with a sequential light display that increases, speed and intensity as the battery charges.

Inside, the Blazer EV offers a refined cabin with a modern design aesthetic. Like the exterior, many interior elements draw inspiration from Chevy’s sports cars and performance heritage. The RS and SS trims feature a flat-bottom steering wheel and sculpted, turbine-inspired vents. The standout feature is a 17.7-inch diagonal, color touchscreen, which serves as the command center for the vehicle’s infotainment system and other functions. Complementing this is an 11-inch diagonal color Driver Information Center in the instrument cluster, making it easy to access vital information while on the road.

The LT trim boasts a sleek monochromatic look with standard 19-inch wheels, while the RS trim features a sportier aesthetic with a black grille, black accents, and standard 21-inch wheels. The SS trim delivers the most aggressive styling, with a bold front grille, a two-tone color scheme featuring a black roof and A-pillars, and standard 22-inch wheels.
