When considering that new breed of super luxury SUVs, Bentley now has two Bentaygas to feed your exceptional taste requirement. The new Bentley Bentayga Extended Wheelbase and for this content you have the standard wheelbase, both with that great design surrounds you. Over-styling is passe, yet luxury and refinement are key elements of your aesthetic. If your weekends are filled with travel, chores, great dining, or other pleasure in line with your low-key chic lifestyle you require your ride to register as ‘thrilling’ on the fun factor continuum.
It was about six years ago that the Bentayga came onto the roads and started a new definition for luxury SUVs. With the abilities of an SUV and the performance of a supreme grand tourer, offering high performance on a curvy road and pulling into highways with ease.
Now that success continues with this fabulous new exterior design and the latest of onboard technology, and an even more luxurious cabin, this new model is significantly revised both inside and out.
At first look at the Bentayga, handcrafted in Crewe, England, you will notice is its strikingly dynamic look, which draws inspiration from the marque’s new design language, introduced by the third-generation Continental GT and all-new Flying Spur. Together, the three cars form a new family that is more visually connected than ever before. The bold styling offers an imposing road presence, with every panel at the front of the car redesigned for a cleaner more modern look.
Starting with the more upright, larger, assertive matrix grille and new, intelligent LED matrix headlamp technology that include the signature Bentley design inspired by cut crystal glassware. A more aggressive front bumper emphasizes the performance characteristics of the car. Heated, wet-arm windscreen wipers are introduced, with 22 washer jets in each arm. At the rear, notice a new full-width tailgate with new encapsulated lamps, and the license plate has been moved down into the bumper for a cleaner appearance. Wide, split tailpipes leave no doubt that this is a powerful performance car. A 20 mm increase to the rear track width brings dynamic benefit and repositions the wheels in their arches to improve the car’s stance. The wheels themselves are a new design, unique to Bentayga.
The Bentayga’s highly praised interior has been significantly revised in the latest model. Among the major changes are a new center fascia and steering wheel as well as a next-generation infotainment system is integrated seamlessly into the handcrafted, Bentley ‘wing’ dashboard design and features a 10.9-inch display screen with edge-to-edge graphics. The all-new digital display includes super high-resolution and dynamic graphics that are configurable to suit driver preferences.
Our test model is a V8 powered twin-turbocharged engine giving us 542 bhp that gave us supercar performance balanced with everyday usability, you can also go with a plug-in Hybrid or even a crazy fast W12-powered Speed version.
