2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
It wasn’t long ago that Lamborghini revealed the Revuelto. Now, the unthinkable continues with the unveiling of the Corvette ZR1. This Vette boasts the most powerful V8 ever produced by an American auto manufacturer, and its iconic design is already catching the attention of supercar enthusiasts. Available in both coupe and convertible variants, the ZR1 is poised to stand alongside the most stylish supercars from Italy.
“The team that revolutionized Corvette with a mid-engine architecture took on another challenge: to take the ZR1 to the next level,” said Scott Bell, vice president of Chevrolet. “Corvette ZR1 is about pushing the envelope with raw power and cutting-edge innovation. From Stingray to Z06, E-Ray, and now ZR1, the Corvette family continues to elevate with each new iteration and challenge the best in the world.”
Regarding some specs, the ZR1’s 5.5L LT7 twin-turbocharged DOHC V8 engine shares its architecture with the Z06’s LT engine but produces 1,064 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 828 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. This marks the most power ever from a factory Corvette and the most powerful V8 ever produced by an American auto manufacturer. Additionally, on a style note, the ZR1 revives one of the most iconic designs in Corvette history: the split rear window.
The yellow Vette featured on this page is rocking the optional ZTK performance package, which enhances its appearance and prepares it for the track—or, in most cases, the highway. The ZTK package includes an aggressive, high-downforce rear wing, front dive planes, and a tall hood Gurney lip constructed from woven carbon fiber. Additionally, underbody strakes replace the standard front underwing stall Gurney to increase front downforce. The suspension tuning in the ZTK package incorporates stiffer springs and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires.
