Growing up outside Boston, Nantucket was always part of our summer getaway plans. Just jumping on Cape Air, we found ourselves on the island in no time. With Nantucket holding a special place in our hearts, I was thrilled to hear that 76 Main had been redesigned. It now blends retro themes, vintage artifacts, and original artwork that pay homage to Nantucket’s media heritage.
Once we got to the curated bookshelves and the gallery walls showcasing news coverage of captivating tales, every detail contributed to our enchanting and engaging experience. Complementing its unique concept, 76 Main now boasts fresh contemporary furnishings, new carpet, and interior decor that exude an upscale beachy island vibe. Plush linens and a complimentary continental breakfast elevate the guest experience. At the same time, an outdoor courtyard with fire pits and a cocktail mixer bar welcome guests to unwind in true Nantucket style.
The owner, Bruce Percelay, a lifelong island resident and the publisher of N Magazine and the Nantucket Current, had a vision for 76 Main Ink Press Hotel to immerse guests in a welcoming space where every corner is a chapter waiting to be explored.
