SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of the Hyundai and Genesis Global Design Center, unveiled the all-new 2026 Palisade SUV during its North American debut at the 2025 New York International Auto Show. The Palisade’s all-new exterior and interior are bold yet refined, built on a more sophisticated platform that offers increased passenger and cargo space. But it’s not just the additional room, longer driving range, and rugged capability that impress — upgrades in infotainment, convenience, and advanced safety systems make this new model more capable across every dimension.
We’re loving the commanding new look of the 2026 Palisade. A distinctive vertical LED daytime running light graphic and a horizontal center-positioning light signature give the SUV a wider stance, emphasizing the bold grille, which now features active airflow shutters in the lower fascia.
A horizontal hood line pairs with a more upright A-pillar, creating a strong and confident side profile. Inside, the cabin is larger, allowing for easier passenger ingress and egress. The expanded interior features a horizontal dashboard layout, soft-touch materials, sophisticated finishes, and a more differentiated luxury ambience.
For 2026, the Palisade will be available in 10 exterior colors for the U.S. market, including Abyss Black Pearl, Typhoon Silver Metallic, Creamy White Pearl, Ecotronic Gray Pearl, Cast Iron Brown Pearl, Galaxy Maroon Pearl, Titan Charcoal Pearl, Classy Blue Pearl, Robust Emerald Pearl, and Earthy Brass Matte. Interior seating options include cloth, leatherette, leather, and premium Nappa leather, with colorways and textures to suit a range of tastes, including black, gray two-tone, navy two-tone, and brown. XRT models also offer unique interior materials and patterns inspired by natural terrain features.
New for 2026, Hyundai introduces the Palisade XRT PRO — the first model to carry the XRT PRO nameplate, signaling a major leap in off-road capabilities beyond previous XRT editions. Designed with U.S. consumers in mind, the XRT PRO adds more serious off-road hardware and software enhancements than any Hyundai before it. Visually, it plays the part too, with a muscular front-end design featuring a bold lower grille, prominent canyon red recovery hooks, and a beefier lower fascia.
